VFC is a bio-adaptive feature film where the soundtrack is dynamically influenced by participants' brain signals. This immersive experience accommodates up to 50 viewers, each receiving a personalized soundtrack generated in real-time through a dual-system setup with bone-conduction earphones KAIROS CREATION has developed the interactive design, bridging the director’s vision with the engineers' technical expertise and the creative talents of the music composer.

The experience encompasses a series of events that use the museum's collection to share neuroscience and fine arts knowledge about visual perception with the public. Antoine Bellemare has been developing a workshop on creative perception and artificial intelligence as part of this initiative.
Learn more about the Creativity & AI WorkshopLatent Ecologies of the Mind explores the symbiotic relationships between humans and the natural world using neuroscientific, mathematical, and digital art tools. Inspired by the concept of ecotones—zones where distinct ecosystems meet—this artwork reflects the dynamic interconnections between humans and nature.
The metaphorical interpretation of ecotones extends to the realm of human relationships with nature and other species, challenging traditional views on separation and individuality. As we observe our representations morph and merge, guided by the invisible link of our neural activities, we witness a digital metaphor for the continuous reshaping of our identities and connections. Humans and ecosystems are of the same kin. And we will gather our compassionate bodies as one, with chimeras of the lands imagining the new shape of our heart.
We were thrilled to receive an Honorable Mention at the Art of Neuroscience awards for this project. The graphic novel ASBESTOS: Une Histoire À Ciel Ouvert was created as an artistic commission from the city of Val-Des-Sources to celebrate its 125th anniversary. This project is based on a unique blend of technology and human testimonies. By merging generative AI with archival images and a mosaic of personal stories from the town’s residents, we crafted a dreamlike narrative that delves into both the past and future vision of Asbestos. This approach allowed us to explore multiple perspectives, capturing the essence of the community through intertwined images and stories. It is, in our view, a much-needed revitalization of the memory of a resilient community, embedded within a loving ode to its heritage.
